Group Trips, Capped Small on Purpose

Researched on the ground and coordinated by someone who has walked the route. Small enough that the group still feels like people, not a delegation.

Why the groups stay small.

Above roughly fifteen people a trip stops being a group and becomes a logistics problem. Every unplanned decision starts costing twenty minutes.

  • Small enough that the group can decide something standing on a street corner
  • One coordinator for the whole trip, not a different local agent in every city
  • Free evenings that are genuinely free, not a shopping stop in disguise
  • Acclimatisation and rest days that exist on the ground, not only on the itinerary
  • Twin sharing by default, with a single supplement available without it being awkward
  • No commissioned emporium stops. If we take you somewhere, it is because it is good

What is included, and what is not.

Every departure publishes its own inclusions. This is the shape they take, and we send the exact list before you pay anything.

Usually in the trip cost

  • Accommodation on a twin-share basis
  • Internal transport on the published route
  • A coordinator travelling with the group
  • Entries and permits named in the itinerary
  • Visa guidance where the trip is international

Usually arranged by you

  • Flights to and from the start point
  • Meals not listed in the itinerary
  • Travel insurance, which we will ask you to hold
  • Personal expenses and optional activities
  • Anything you add on either side of the dates

Always in writing first

  • The exact inclusions for that departure
  • The single supplement, if you want one
  • The cancellation terms, before you pay
  • The longest day on the road
  • The fitness the route actually asks for

Who tends to come.

Most departures end up a mix, which is usually the best version of a group trip.

Solo travellers

The largest share of most departures. Twin sharing is matched thoughtfully, and nobody is made to feel like the spare person.

Couples and friends

Room together, travel with the group, and disappear for an afternoon whenever you want to without negotiating it.

First-time group travellers

Usually people who like travelling but not planning. The coordinator handles the logistics you were dreading.
